SILVER SPUR AWARDS RECOGNIZE JOHNY CARPENTER LEGACY

Studio City, CA: The 8th Annual Silver Spur Awards were held before a capacity audience of invited guests,
Friday October 21, 2005 at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City. The event is hosted by The Reel Cowboys and
annually honors those in the entertainment industry whose body of work best reflects the cowboy and western genre & way of life.

   Among the honoree’s were James Garner, Stella Stevens, Rhonda Fleming and Jack Palance.

Each year the Reel Cowboys chose 1 or 2 recipients to give the proceeds to. The Hollywood Stuntmen’s Hall of Fame
and The “New Heaven on Earth Ranch” Foundation were chosen. The foundation is located in Lake View Terrace, CA and
was created to honor the legacy of the late Johny Carpenter.

     The first major project of the foundation is to construct and operate The “Johny Carpenter” Arena on the site the original
ranch sat, which is now owned by All Nations Church. The arena will be made available to the foothills community, open 7 days a
week and will encourage local groups and their programs to utilize it.

     On Friday November 18th, 2005 at All Nations Church, the 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner/Korean BBQ will be held.
This is the event that started the process which led to the foundation’s creation. The Reel Cowboys and Otis Wallace will be
co honoree’s this year as recipients of The “Spirit of Johny Carpenter” Award.
